How do I create a new Smart Alerts?
You can set up your own Smart Alerts without the help of a Webtrekk expert. Just go to the Settings tab and select Metric, Dimension and Anomaly Level. Choose our own name and message for each Smart Alerts and add as many email recipients as you wish.
What are the benefits of Smart Alerts?
There are many! Imagine being able to react within hours instead of retroactive analysis or finding out via a customer or co-worker that something happened on the website. Smart Alerts give you an edge – they help you be the first to know when something’s up.
How do Smart Alerts work?
Our anomaly detection technology identifies changes in your data that are out of the ordinary. Our machine learning technology will analyze the last eight weeks of a given metric then calculate a corridor within which the next value for a time series should be. If the next value is outside this corridor, we send a notification via email so you and your team can investigate.
Think of it this way – when your company launches a new marketing campaign, you could get a performance alert showing key metrics. When product sales suddenly go up, you can report to your team the immediate results. Then there are those things that can’t be predicted – with Smart Alerts, you might also find yourself inspired to report on something new.
